What we maintain
We Maintain The Whole Checkpoint
- X-ray machines — all brands: IRR17-compliant annual servicing, preventive maintenance, lead curtain replacement, image quality verification and corrective repair across Smiths Detection, Rapiscan, L3/Leidos, Astrophysics, VOTI Detection, XRC (X-ray Centre), Gilardoni, Todd Research and Hissco — including legacy machines the manufacturer no longer supports.
- Walk-through & handheld metal detectors: calibration, zone testing and repair, including CEIA and Garrett fleets.
- Explosives trace detectors: field service plus full lab-bench repair, calibration and verification at our Hampshire facility — Barringer and Smiths Detection IONSCAN 400B, IONSCAN 500DT, IONSCAN 600 and SABRE 4000, plus Morpho/Rapiscan Itemiser 3, Itemiser DX, Itemiser 4DX and MobileTrace. Trusted at the Houses of Parliament since 2018.
- Liquid scanners & more: Kumahira LSR-M2, cabinet X-ray and tray return systems.

2 preventive maintenance visits a year plus remote technical support by phone and email; callouts PAYG.
Enhanced
2 PM visits, full remote support and 2 corrective callouts included annually.
Unlimited
2 PM visits, full remote support and unlimited corrective maintenance callouts included.
TotalCare
All-inclusive: unlimited callouts, full remote support and general-failure parts included.
Tailor Made
No two sites, usage patterns or budgets are the same. If none of the five fit, we'll build a plan around your equipment, your usage and your environment — including mixed fleets where different machines need different levels of cover.
TotalCare excludes misuse, operator error, environmental damage and liquid ingress. We'll help you pick what genuinely fits, not the biggest one.

The Part You Need, Without The Runaround
We sell spare parts, repair parts and consumables for security screening systems — X-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors and trace detectors — across the major brands, drawn from our own stores and the serviceable parts we reclaim through our certified strip-down programme. Fitted by our engineers or shipped to yours, and identifiable from nothing more than a photo.
Radiation compliance
Independent Radiation Surveys & System Health Checks
If you operate an X-ray machine in the UK, the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 (IRR17) apply to you — HSE registration, risk assessments, an RPA and proof the machine isn't leaking radiation beyond its design limits. We advise on all of it, and our engineers carry out independent radiation surveys and health checks on X-ray machines of any brand to keep your staff safe and your paperwork audit-ready.
