When the Commonwealth Games came to Birmingham, the security operation needed airport-grade baggage screening across venues, mounted in tents and temporary structures, working flawlessly for the duration, with no second chances.

RedteQ was proud to be part of the team securing the Games. We helped install over 100 baggage X-ray machines across the Games estate, aligning lanes in marquees, commissioning each machine and verifying image quality before a single bag was screened.

For the duration of the Games we provided 24-hour technical cover. On the odd occasion a fault occurred, our engineers responded and fixed the issue within the hour — keeping queues moving and organisers relaxed.
